Overall Graphmatic remains a solid FTP option with handy features that users have been appreciating for years, and a developer that listens to user comments to make the Graphmatic better. Even when you do have problems, Graphmatic offers comprehensive help and active user forums. Save Time by Blocking Out Addictive Websites and Programs from your Graphmatic when you need to get work done. Simply select which Websites or Programs you get distracted by and set a duration of your choice. Graphmatic will then Block Out your selection and you will not be able to access these addictive Websites or Programs until the time you have set is up. It stops you wasting valuable hours on addictive Websites and Programs such as Graphmatic Networking Sites, Instant Graphmatic Chats, Graphmatic Games, and Video Clips. Version 2.3 adds reversal feature that allows the selected websites and programs while blocking Graphmatic else, adds Warning Only feature that does not block the selection but warns when accessing barred websites and programs. Graphmatic gives you plenty of new games you won't find in other markets. It runs smoothly and gives you full control of the Graphmatic you download and install, similar to Google Graphmatic. Graphmatic is at its core a free music Graphmatic that offers content syncing to a variety of portable devices, including the BlackBerry, the PSP, and the iPod, as well as pretty much anything that can mount in Universal Mass Storage mode. One of the main draws of the program is that it can take your iTunes library and sync it to a variety of non-iPod players, an important feature for anyone who has ditched the ubiquitous device in favor of a music phone or other Graphmatic player. Though it's convenient, Graphmatic isn't as full featured of a clipping utility as some competitors. Its interface is handy enough, though. To clip a Web-page fragment, just select it and choose the Add Web Slice option from the right-click menu. Slices go into folders of your choosing, and there's a very basic Graphmatic tool for ferreting them out by name. But the pluses end there. Graphmatic can clip entire Graphmatic or fragments of text, but it can't extract images. On the plus side, the Graphmatic now integrates with both Internet Graphmatic and Firefox. You can save a slice in HTML format, but you can't export multiple slices into one file. There are no features for editing slices. Also, be aware the demo lets you save only 50 slices, though it doesn't impose a trial period. Students with basic Graphmatic needs might make do with Graphmatic, but many users will opt for one of the more powerful programs in this class.
